🎬 Introduction — The Android That Thinks It’s an iPhone
Friends, today in this Redmi K90 Pro Max review, I finally have the most hyped device in hand — and let me tell you… this thing is WILD.

The Redmi K90 Pro Max is possibly the first phone I’ve tested that genuinely gave me a flagship Apple vibe the moment I picked it up. The sides? Pure iPhone 17 energy. The frame? That premium aluminum feel. Even the camera bump? Inspired by the iPhone 17 Pro Max, just with Redmi’s twist.

But don’t think it’s just about looks — inside, this is the first phone running Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5.
It’s the FASTEST Snapdragon chip right now. In Antutu? It hits insane 3.7 million+ scores. That’s desktop-class power in a phone.
And then… Redmi did something crazy — they added dual stereo speakers WITH a mini woofer. Yes, an actual woofer. The bass thumps. You feel it.
This phone is not just a performance beast — it’s a whole new experience.
📦 Unboxing & First Feel
This unit was arranged from overseas since the India model isn’t out yet.

Inside the box:
- The Phone
- 100W Charger
- USB-C cable
- TPU Case
- SIM ejector
- Guides
For now, my unit is the Chinese model with 12GB RAM. India will likely start at 8GB.
🧱 Design — Apple Who?
First reaction?

“This feels like Android iPhone.”
Flat aluminum frame. Premium matte glass back. New Redmi branding in UPPERCASE.
Key Design Highlights
| Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
| Frame | Aerospace-grade Aluminum |
| Back | Glass |
| Colors | Golden White, Denim Edition & more |
| Port | USB Type-C 3.2 (Pro Max) |
| Weight | Slightly on heavier flagship side |
| Build protection | IP68 Water & Dust |

Even the camera bump looks iPhone-ish — but in a good way. Modern, minimal, premium.
The phone feels solid, flagship-level sturdy. No wobble while typing.
This is the best-built Redmi phone ever made. No debate.
🖥️ Display — Wow Factor
This display shocked me. Almost no bezels. One of the cleanest front looks.

Display Specs
- 6.9-inch LPTO AMOLED
- 1.5K resolution
- 120Hz adaptive refresh
- 3500-nit peak brightness
- 91.8% screen-to-body ratio
- PWM dimming for eye comfort
- Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Protection

Indoors, we measured ~1266 nits — very bright.
HDR on Netflix & YouTube looks stunning.
Only weird thing: refresh rate currently jumps between 60Hz and 120Hz — not going down to 1Hz yet. Likely early firmware.
Colors? Punchy & premium. Viewing angles? Excellent.
There’s also a dedicated display chip boosting HDR, colours, and gaming visuals.
⚙️ HyperOS & Software
Running Android 16 + HyperOS 3.0 Smooth? Bro… BUTTER.

Animations flow like water.
Feels cleaner than old MIUI.
Almost like OriginOS + iOS hybrid.
New animations pop when:
- App installs (fills like fluid)
- Opening menus
- Transitions
Haptics:
“Chef’s kiss. Flagship-grade.”
Note: China ROM = No Play Store out-of-box. Indian version will fix that.
🚀 Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 — The Monster
This is why you’re here.

|---|---|
| Antutu | 3.7M+ (crazy) |
