Realme 15t -Introduction
Realme has launched its new Realme 15T, hyped as the next big thing in the mid-range segment. On paper, it packs a stylish design, 5G connectivity, and fast charging. But when it comes to real-world performance, the excitement quickly fades.
Despite the flashy features, the realme 15T struggles with heavy multitasking and gaming, leaving users disappointed.
It’s a phone that looks powerful but doesn’t quite live up to the promise. For those expecting a true performance upgrade, the Realme 15T might be more style than substance.
Realme 15t design
With a design similar to the iPhone and even lightweight, it is very comfortable in the hands, featuring some interesting features. I have the Realme 15T here today, and let’s talk about it. Let’s know how things turn out.
As far as the unboxing experience is concerned, everything is available in the box. From cover to necessary things, whatever you need, you will get everything.
If I tell the first positive thing, I found its design very interesting. One thing is that the way you see the design here, it is giving the vibe of an iPhone because the camera module is of that type. So, I would say that Realme has made it very stylish, as per the pricing.
So, the colour I have is Suit Titanium, but here you get two more colour options. Now, this is another good note of this phone that when I am looking at it from the front, the bezels are very less from all sides and it is giving out a premium flagship vibe.
It is even lightweight. I mean, I did not expect that it would give out such a vibe. It is light, comfortable. It is also good for use in long scenarios. And the phone is also made thin.
If you listen to the number of its battery, it is 7000 mAh. It means Realme has designed a very thin phone. So, there is a positive note about that thing. And in this, you get three variant options. Where it starts from 8/128, 8/256 and higher, you get upto 12/256.
Realme 15t build quality
A plastic back is given to you at the rear. Additionally, there is a plastic frame on the side. However, this smartphone feels high-quality. It is also pleasant to hold. Its design is simple. All the required ports and a dual microphone are included here.
A hybrid SIM slot is present. Where two SIM cards or one SIM card and one SD card can be placed. Thus, this proves to be a wise choice. There will not be any swaying at all if you type from the bottom after placing the phone on the table.
Realme 15t ratings
Apart from this, it has a higher IP69 rating, which is quite good. Also, here you get to see a very durable phone. So you can unlock the fingerprint from here, which comes out in the display, which gives a very good user experience. The IR blaster is located at the back, near the camera module.
Realme 15t display quality
It has the brightest display of the segment, which is 4000 nits, and this AMOLED display comes with 4R Comfort Plus. And here it is, a flat display.
So it gives a very good vibe and in-hand feeling, which is a user experience for a long time. The rest is the HBM of 1400.
And what we checked out through our device, it achieves a number of 1348, which would be considered the best, and yes, it also feels bright outdoors.
The vibe is good even while watching the content. And this display keeps moving the refresh rate of the display between 60 Hz, 90 Hz and 120 Hz. If you use YouTube, Chrome and Facebook in direct auto mode, then the option available in the display runs at 90 Hz, and if you set it to high, it pushes the application to 120 Hz.
There are display colour modes in the screen. You can use them according to your choice. Even extra brightness mode is also available. So, regarding the display, I would say that in terms of comfort and brightness, for a long-time user who wants to experience multimedia, the content feels good on YouTube, Netflix, etc.
Realme 15t multimedia test
The speakers are dual stereo, which is loud enough, and the ratio is 50-50, which is good. Along with this, you get O Reality Audio, and here you will have to connect earphones through Type C. So if you want to use 3.5mm, then use the converter.
And here you can boost the audio up to 300% due to which your audio becomes louder and more enhanced. So if I sum up the multimedia experience regarding display, speakers, etc., then the results here are quite good. Your multimedia experience will be amazing.
Realme 15t battery & charging
You get the option of a 7000 mAh battery with an 80W charger and reverse wire charging as well. And this 7000 mAh battery will easily give you 2 days of battery backup on this phone. So easily you can easily do normal tasks, medium tasks for two days, and the battery backup is also quite good.
Even the charging numbers are good because it takes around 38 minutes to go from 0 to 50% and it will take somewhere around 1 hour and 10 to 15 minutes to reach 100% which will be considered good according to the overall battery numbers.
Realme 15t performance & gaming
The processor is the Dimensity 6400 Max processor, which is with 6nm and along with this, you have LPDDR 4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage and 89% CPU throttle.
So this performance will make all the applications of your daily life, like Insta, YouTube and other things that we use perform very well with a smooth experience.
BGMI offers smooth 60fps. So on TDM, you can play time pass casual 60fps, and on Erangel, you can see FPS fluctuations. So this phone will give a very decent gaming experience.
Realme 15t connectivity features
It is a 5G smartphone; NFC is not available. It supports dual-band Wi-Fi.
There are 33 sensors on which you also get dedicated proximity sensors. So during a call, the display also turns off automatically. As for the dialer, you do not get the Google dialer here. Here you get O dialer. So if you have to do a call recording, etc., then you can do it easily without any announcement in front.
As for the software experience, Realme gives you a good one here because there is Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 on which you get OS updates plus security patches, and along with this, the animation UI experience of Realme UI here feels good. It feels premium and will feel much better for under 20,000.
After that, you do not have any issues here. I mean, in UI, I would say refined and with the fastest animations, it will give you a smooth experience. As for the rest of the haptics, you get normal vibration. About AI, the AI editor is available, and along with it, you also get AI genie and Google Gemini.
Realme 15t camera
Talking about the camera, there is a 50MP camera on the main camera and a 50MP camera on the front, which are basically useful cameras. The samples we have tried out on this phone give a good first impression for under 20,000. Skin tones, etc., are also being managed well.
Sometimes the exposure of white in a few photos can seem up or down. HDR is also balanced well, and the experience of selfies, etc., is also good.
If you make an overall combo, then you get an interesting camera setup according to that.
Ultrawide setup is not available in it at the moment. So, as far as front camera recording is concerned, you don’t get 4K 30×60 video recording; you get 1080p 60fps.
Conclusion
The Realme 15T proves that looks can be deceiving. While it offers an attractive design, 5G support, and fast charging, its mediocre performance holds it back from being a true mid-range champion.
For casual users, it may still get the job done, but power-hungry gamers and multitaskers will likely feel underwhelmed. At the end of the day, the Realme 15T feels more like a style-first smartphone rather than a performance beast—and that could be a dealbreaker for many buyers in 2025.
